In the second grade I managed to draw a reasonable facsimile of Mickey Mouse’s head. I’ve been hooked on cartooning since.
But I couldn’t make a career of it. My last job was as a librarian for a nonprofit. In the summer of 2016, at the age of 68, I finally retired and finished a comic I’d been working on for years. The comic was “Multiverse Comics and Stories” and in December of 2017, the comic was accepted by comiXology, the digital comics retailer.
Now I’m wondering if at this late time of life I can have a flourishing and creative life as a full-time cartoonist.
